English Courses
If you need to improve your English to help with your studies, to improve your opportunities at work, to pass an exam or just to help you communicate better with your friends and colleagues, these courses are for you!
Our General English courses teach you functional, every day English to build your vocabulary and grammar knowledge and help you improve your skills. Our courses cover reading, writing, listening, speaking and pronunciation. With your tutor, you will look at a wide variety of topic areas and situational language so that your English becomes more accurate and fluent in style. If you are ready to prepare for your First Certificate Exam, join our Upper-Intermediate Class.
Leftbank English tutors are friendly native speakers who are experienced and qualified teachers of EFL or ESOL.
You can also improve your English for studying on an academic, IELTS course. These courses are available throughout the year when we have a group of students ready.
English Language Courses will run Monday and Thursday evenings. You are welcome to join the course at any time although for the lower level students, we recommend starting on the first day of the term. Students must attend both Monday and Thursday classes each week.

Your teacher will give you study materials for class and also give you home work so that you can continue to learn after lessons.
One to One Tuition:
We also offer one to one tuition. Lessons can be designed to meet your own specific needs such as exam preparation e.g.: IELTS, FCE, CAE, Business English...
We also work directly with employers wishing to offer custom tailored English tuition to their staff, either in-house or at our language centre. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
